Director of Sales, National Accounts - East Coast

The Director of National Accounts leads the company’s efforts to acquire, maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location hospitality chains and requires a self starting/entrepreneurial skill set.  The Director of National Accounts is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The Director of National Accounts represents the entire range of company products and services and being point person on all customer account interactions to ensure all needs and expectations are met by the company. The Director of National Accounts focuses on the headquarters and the key departments including front of house and back of house operations, while coordinating and directing all account activities including Service, Support and Engineering. The Director of National Accounts reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales.


  • Point person on all National Accounts. This person will lead and own all activities within an account and coordinating and directing internal Omnivore resources including Service, Support and Engineering.
  • Effectively developing, maintaining and retaining existing customers by building long-term relationships across all departments within an organization.
  • Maintain and report on all sales matrixes including KPI’s, VMO’s and SWOT analysis.
  • Responding to, or redirecting to appropriate personnel, all inquiries and sales requests within specified timeframe
  • Performing reporting activities as required using
  • Participating in continuing education to learn about new products and improved sales techniques
  • Tracking personal sales statistics and submitting to SVP of Sales for periodic reviews

Additional Requirements

  • Highly organized and efficient 
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Able to show consistent professionalism and good judgement
  • Experienced with 5+ years in the food and beverage, wine and spirits, technology, consultant or marketing sales into national hospitality accounts
  • Portfolio of previous national account success is a major plus
  • Desired location of home office: Tampa, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago
  • 50% travel is required
